In tested temos and the unit never got to a high temp above 200. Seems like no matter where the temp selector is alwasy running low temps. on low highest temp was 190 on medium 195 and on high is 200. It seems like it wants to do it but it does not go above 200. "installed parts ordered by last tech. restored power. light still flicker, contorl display has no lights, cant change temp and UI still does not respond. pulled unit out and began diagnosing unit. i can hear evap fan revving up then slowing down repeatedly. compressor ran for less than a minute then stopped. i found the outlet is wired properly. i found when ice dispensor is pressed the evap fan revs up and the lights get brighter. unplugged paddle to dispensor and plugged unit back in, didnt help. called techline, they had me check door switches, reseat all wires on all harnesses and connectors. found when evap fan is unplugged the interior lights go out. techline said unit is nonrepairable, damage must be inside the cabinet. 7733888943. informed cx whirlpool will be in contact."

cx complaint unit still leaking. inspected unit and found that the nuts on the replacement heater are not tightened down and as a result have allowed a gap of about 1/16-1/8 inch where water can pass when in a cycle. was able to tighten the heater nuts and test unit. no leaks now from heater. also found the drain hose to be misligned and causing a kink in the hose elbow. corrected drain hose direction and tested and found no issues. contacted techline to doucment. reinstalled strictly to cx satisfaction. sr7733890743

cx complaint unit going off balance constantly and disolving detergent prematurely leaving detergent residue on the clothing. checked and found error f0e5 saved in diagnostic entry. clear code and inspedcted unit to find that it has been appropriately leveled and all suspension bushings are in place. cx did detail that the objective in use is to be able to wash comforters/rugs/blankets/etc. made mention to cx that in some case with heavier items the unit may not be equipped to handle the larger loads. cx also stated that when using the pod style detergent the pod will dissolve prematurely and saturate the clothes when the unit is filling during the initial sensing portion of the cycle. in terms of repair there are no parts that can be changed that will modify the function of the unit.
