Cx complaint is unit freezes in the fridge and freezer ice maker. inspected and verified complaint. upon inspection found that both fc and rc doors/gaskets are defective. found them unseated from the doors at top and bottom of fc door and top of rc door. pressed back into molding on door and tried to heat with heat gun to mold back in. both gaskets became loose again by closing and opening the door like with normal use. doors are level and nothing makes contact with them but gaskets come right out. this is allowing the insides to frost up in the freezer and the top shelf of the fridge to freeze/frost up. ordering new fc and rc doors and gaskets. I then removed the top and front panel and drum and found that the belt had a clean break where the belt failed. I also found that the idler broke the belt switch. CX complaint is squealing noise comong from DW. INspected/tested unit and verified complaint. During testing I did not hear anything out of the ordinary. The CX stated that it only happens while in dry cycle which would be the vent fan but I could not verify that the noise was abnormal. Installers from Home Depot in Lewes DE although ripped all the insulation from under unit out and I think the noise that the CX is hearing is from that all missing. This is an install related issue. cx complaint sunday they were cooking a ham for 3 hours. after it was done they shut off the oven and left the ham in it. they were watching tv and notice they didnt feel right. there carbon monoxide detector then went off in the closet. detector is 6 feet away. cx has lived here for 7 yrs. this is the first time this happened. preheated oven and waited till it lit for the second time and then stapped outside and 0 meter. came inside and walked over to oven. meter began to go up and up till if peaked at 223ppm. called TL was told 800ppm is the max aloud for the unit. whirlpool says its working as designed. i dont agree with that being the cx and I both got headaches and eyes burning only after a couple mins of the unit being on.

cx complaint is unit does not run or cool like it should and numbers dont change no matter how cold they set unit to. unit was shut off and numbers showed 68 and 5. turned unit back on to run for a bit to see if unit startewd to cool. cx knows unit is way O-O-W. compressor was cold as unit was off. was able to flip switch and turn temp knob and unit started up. lights and fans check. can feel the gargle or pulse in the cooling lines. temp went up on display as unit was open to check. advised cx we will need unit to run the next 24-48 hours to check reading and unit may need to be charged as everything is running. he said he though it would need to be charged maybe. cx will pay 120 service for today and have sealed system tech out to check charge and SS things.

"cx stated that theyve been using the unit on timed dry and its been working properly and when trying sensor dry the unit is working the way the previous tech described. stopping short on very small loads not large enough to hit the moiture sensor, stopping with very lightweight fabrics dry and heavy fabrics still damp, and bedding hot and bone dry on the outside but wet in the middle of the item as its balled up in the drum. basaed on this the cx believes it is working as designed and doesnt see a reason to change parts as he said they will always run mixed loads and timed dry better suits that need. unit tests good, job complete."

"contacted techline immediately. when most recently charegd with 4.5 oz of 134a the unit showed 4 psi above vacuum and high side at about 125psi. checked again today and fond same pressures for rc cooling and 0psi low side and 110psi high side. confirmed these to be good pressures with TL. temps in fc showed bewteen 3-7 degrees. checke temps in rc and found 52 dergees. condenser, and fc evap fan run. found severe temp swings in test 3 indicating a failed rc thermistor. double checked continuity values at the main control and could not generate a consistent value to the meter. unit has failure rc thermistor. sr7733526546; ordrng 1 W11395639 (evap cover)"
