"cx complaint that unit is making ice and never had issues with the unit making ice just dispencing it is the issue with the bin catching and turning the cubes out to the poiint where they open door and ice comes through.... when arrived had checked bc the unit was working when arrived i had checked the icemaker and makingfun bin of ice no issues, found the seperator is sealing tight when pour oz or so in the chute to see if dripps through and nothing. foudn the solinoid is working as far as going from crushed to cubed and holding cup lid the top and dispncing found ice to be correctly flowing out of chute and sealing after released paddle. instructed cx to keep cup to the top and also wait a second after releaing to ensure all cubes are out and not sitting in the chute.. unit appearsgood"

Inspected unit found FC evaporator still had the frost at the last technician saw on the evaporator it was not defrosted only the top two rings of the freezer evap were frosted over heavily. And I cleared for awesome steamer. I inspected RC evaporator found the RC evaporator cover tabs were broken off and missing. The enclosure and drip pan plastic was broken down from the oil leaking from the evaporator. Had to drive to the shop to pick up evaporator cover and drip pan. I then replaced the compressor ,evaporator, three-way valve, coupler, RC evaporator housing RC evaporator RC fan RC evaporator cover and drip pan. I pulled unit into a 30-in vac and then Phil to 5.5 Oz unit is now cooling properly."

"Cx complaint is unit making loud noise. per prior techs diagnosis, replaced transformer, magnetron, capacitor, and diode. tested unit with cup of water and water was not warm/hot. believed the bad components that were replaced could have caused the control board to fail. checked control and noticed a component with one of its 3 connections visibly broken/defective. the bottom light was also not working. Called sr tech and shared findings. "Cx complaint is ice maker has ice build up, visibly defective door gasket on left pantry drawer, and ice/frost in freezer. inspected and verified complaint. found that unit was not level, leaning forward about 1/2 in. ensured unit was level to correct the water dripping from the ice maker and building up on the ice bin. inspected pantry door and gasket/door is defective and not sealing properly. freezer door/gasket is also visibly defective allowing frost build up on food only on the top shelf of the freezer. frozen water droplets on the top shelf in freezer and on the top of cabinet in freezer confirm warm air entering the unit from improper seal. ordering left pantry and fc door. cannot reschedule due to OS part. informed cx to call office when part arrives and to inspect for damages.; ordrng 1 W10815701 (dor-fip ss) and 1 W10815669 (dor-fip ss) and 1 W10832386 (gasket-fip)"

cx complaint RC door gasket isnt sealing. inspected unit and found right side of RC door gasket was not sealing and was folded wrong. i was able to smash it with some heat from a heat gun and form gasket back to its normal shape. closed door and infor cx to wait 1 hour till the door is opened to let the seal cool down and keep shape. unit checks good.

Charged cx for $120 service, will need to be charged accordingly for which ever part needs replaced, labor, shipping and taxes. cx says the ice maker is making ice but its all stuck together. says he paid for the ice maker to be put in but i cant find that info. cx says he will pay for the ice maker and we can verify later. replaced the ice maker and reset power to the unit. ran test 120 and the ice maker passed. ran test 97 and the unit only activates the valve for a split second. called tech support and spoke with an anthony. file number . after door valve the icemaker valve filled. the unit is now good

"Confirmed cx complaint unit not consistently making ice. CX states that sometimes they will add ice from another source and the unit will start making ice again. Found freezer temps at +2 degrees (4 degrees above recommended). Based on cx description it sounds like the unit is not consistently sensing that it is cool enough to produce ice. Set the unit to lowest freezer setting (-8) and selected max ice option, instructed cx to call back if unit does not produce consistenly and I will reach out to jenn-air directly to see what they want to do."

"prior to performing sealed system repair inspected unit. immediately contacted techline. found that the compressor ohms out correctly from all pins. compressor does not run in test 38 at 99%. per techline unit will need new orion board. sr7733954093.attempted install of the orion board sent with the compressor box today, however the orion had clearly been opened and was not the correct part (the mullinex connectors were completely different). replaced maind control and will be reordering both the orion board as well as the rc evap cover.; ordrng 1 W11592010 (orion board) and 1 W11395558 (evap cover)"
