Before repair i double checked diagnosis and found inlet tube frozen and water line kinked. Water did not dispense until corrected the kink. I corrected these and then replaced the dual valve. Tested unit and now IM is filling but water not dispensing. I can hear valve activate but it is not opening. I left defective valve in place because CX uses the ice but not water dispenser. Reordering inlet valve. Scheduled return visit for 6/30 anytime before 6pm; ordrng 1 WPW10420083 (valve)

"Cx complaint that the unit is not holding temp. I inspected the unit and confirmed the complaint. I found the evap covered in ice, I removed the ice and found the defrost connector loose. I secured the connector and ran tests 5 & 13. Both worked fine and the defrost heater came one. I repositioned the defrost connectors above the cap and suction tubing. I think this occurs because the defrost connectors rest on the evap, and when it freezes the ice make the connector seperate. I tested the unit for the cx. The unit is working as designed."

Found freezer temps at +2 degrees (4 degrees above recommended). Based on cx description it sounds like the unit is not consistently sensing that it is cool enough to produce ice. Set the unit to lowest freezer setting (-8) and selected max ice option, instructed cx to call back if unit does not produce consistenly and I will reach out to jenn-air directly to see what they want to do."

"cx complaint rc door gasket keeps falling out, frost on items in fz and nameplate bent up from installers having to peel it off when reversing the door. inspected unit and verifed complaint. tried reinstalling gasket but it just keeps falling out. replaced gasket and nameplate. fluffed door gaskets with heat gun. new rc gasket had big gaps and had to heat it alot to get it to seal. all doors sealing at this time now. advised cx to leave door closed for an hour so gasket can reshape and call back if gaps open back up. if cx calls back unit will need new black door(LW10668874)"
