"SR7733963886 Replaced the hinge recievers as per previous diagnosis. I found bending on frome when i had the left panel off and documented in pics. Tested and door still rubbing. Called WPTL and went over findings. WP recommended i replace the base, front and hinge reciever covers. WPTL also recommended extra time and a second person for this repair. Ordering base, front, hinge covers, 2 tech and 2 count per TL Also marking inner door for return visit. Liner needs to be replaced but the problem must be resolved first...Inner door rubbing front of body. Customer complaint unit makes noises when the door is open the door swings out and the bottom trim is coming off. I tested teh unit and found the gasket is not sealing adjusted gasket and they nosie is still present. I wiped the gasket and the nosie stops. The trim at the bottom is loose but is attanched the customes asked me if that affects cooling. I told him that is just a cover for the cooling of the system but is not gasket even if it looks loose cooling is not escaping. The door swinging out is normal for this model this model does not have any opnner ot closer. The door is going to go where gravity wants it to be. But the stopper will keep it from swinging pass wat is designed to do. unit is back to normal operations.

Inspected and found a wire for the auger motor coming out of the liner harness that mates with the ice maker harness was repaired(see SD pic) and also the wire is pulling out of the connector. That harness is coming out of the liner is unreplacable. Repaired the splice and pushed wire back into connector which has the auger motor working now. CX called Lowe's to get replacement which she had on the phone while I was there and sounds like they are going to honor a exchange for her. -MJrob

Customer complaint unit is not making ice. I tested the unit and found test 56 has E5 error codes. Ran test 57 ice maker dropped the ice that was inside. Ran test 58 and is 00 warmer than harvest temp. Ran test 36 and 37 all pass. TEsted ice boct thermistor and found 8.1 ohms warm but i had the doors open before. I tested ice box thermistor and about the same a little higher but i had the doors open. TL told me that if the ice maker was replaced and if the unit was not rebooted the code still is saved. tl adviced to reset the board and base on the testing it should start to work. Reset unit and the customer is going to call back if it did not work.
