Ice was preventing the shaft to go all the way back. Removed evap cover and found good frost pattern with no ice build up. "cx complaint is a bunch of snow and ice in the front of unit on the top and all over the rails on the right hand side. checked unit and went over overpacking and closing door as all air is coming from the front upper side as well as right. also says the auto close does not work either. i did see a gap in the liner where air could be coming in as well he said FF left door does not close like right door but thats because the left door has the heater, showed him the difference. only things i could see in doing is replacing the door gasket and the rails and sealing the gap in the liner to see if that will hold back the air. wont know if that will fix till after repair.rest of unit checks. temps in range and all lights and fans checks. will order parts needed. cx calling whirlpool as well.; ordrng 1 WPW10330991 (Refrigerator Bracket) and 1 WPW10330993 (Refrigerator Bracket) and 1 WPW10714545 (Gasket) and 1 8201711 (Adhesive)"

installed compressor and uv dye drier and pulled unit into 30 inch vacuum and held. unit held vacuum with no leaks. charged with 134a and tesed. was only able to observe evap frot pattern breifly however due to the unit being in an rv and power to unit was only supplied via an electrical cord. unit als did not have fc door installed due to the install of the entire unit in the rv. from all testing performed after completion unit appeared to check good.

Cx complaint is that the suspension rod in the RR of the tub popped out and the basket is sagging. Upon arrival I found that the suspension rod had come out and the bushing was flipped upside down in the pocket. I inspected the rod and the bushing and found that there are no obvious signs that would cause it to jump out. I was able to reinsert the rod into the bushing in place. Unit is functioning as intended. Job complete I collected the service call.

Then thawed out evaporator fully and rand diagnostic test, to test the 3 way valve. on step 5 of the test, i sprayed real quick onto the evap then waited 10 min, IT did Not Refreeze, confirming 3 way valve function. Found SP W11092686 and inspected the drip pan. confirmed it had been warped. the SP mentions number S16360 - Covers labor Only. ORdering Drip pan kit W11457241 and setting RC evap fan assembly on return in case CX wants it installed. they WILL have to pay on the spot for it. Charged CX $211.61 via card. "cx complaint that the caulk surrouding the perimeter of the cooktop glass is 'diminishing'. inspedcted unit and can confirm that the bead of caullk around the cooktop glass is not the same thickness at all points around the cooktop, and at the front most section towards the console, the caulk is low enough to allow small crumbs and debris to get trapped inside (took pics). cx was insistent that this is due to the caulk 'diminishing' but that simply is not the case. the caulk used to seal the glass within the top frame is heat reisistent and could only be impacted by harsh chemicals not approved for cleaning by whirlpool. tried to explain to cx that this is in fact a cosmetic failure, but cx was resistent to explination of the product."

Cx complaint is that the unit is still frosting up within a few days of the last repair. Upon arrival I tested resistence at the control for the evap thermistor and the heating circuit. I found that thermistor to be reading at 49.2 K Ohms and the heating circuit at 103 ohms. I called TL and informed them of my findings. He stated that the thermistor was reading 53 Deg F. however the resistence chart that I was seeing had the reading at -18 to -20 degrees F. I spoke with MR to verify what I was seeing. I then removed the outerdoor panel and found that when running a normal cycle. water was pouring out from under the dispenser housing. I found that 3 screws to the dispenser are strpied and not tightening. I am orderign 1 dispenser housing (WPW10671905). I called WP Tech Line and spoke to Joel.
