I inspected unit found evap frozen over at the drain pan and the return ducts where the return air comes in from the refrigerator. I used my steamer and completely thawed out all of the areas of ice and frost. Drain is draining. Unit isn't working properly. I also leveled unit back to the door would clothes on its own.

"cx complaint filter stuck and ice smells bad. found button on filter housing not kicking filter out but can get filter out if i use a flathead screw driver to gently pry it out while pushing button. installed new filter and flushed water to purge air. verified ice smells bad. tried to check water supply but shutoff is seized and cant turn. advised cx to have plumber replace shutoff valve. water from dispenser doenst smell but could just not smell now because we changed the filter. icemaker mold looks good and doesnt smell, dont see any chips from mold in the ice. i smell it in container but cx doesnt. dumed ice in container and advised to let it fill up, dump it then clean container and see if replacing filter fixed smell. if cx calls back, send tech with icemaker(WPW10190961)."

"when arrived i was able to install the clear door to try to found what was happening when leaking point. i found no cracks in manifold/spray arms no leaks nor issues from the sump assembly gasket is fully seated in and down far enough i can rule out the dispncer , inner door panel when testing and also the 5/16 track bolts no issue. will need a tub by the area its leaking with the wster seeping in the welded tines. qouted cx on the repair they are not going through with repair to cost nd already paid the service fee."

"CC the units LR/lf NOT Working.. found 240vac to terminal , but 48vac to switch, not gertting 240vac.. on video chat w/ WPL we found miswired switch .. rewired it and verifed with wpl. l1 black and l2 red.. cr red wire fell off and shorted to chassis , the cx stated she heard a pop before this happen.. i reassembled everything and hit the breaker. the breaker is blowing bad.. i could not see any pinched wires or shorted wires. i did find the double orange (P) on lr switch has a broken wire.. i then started checked the wiring in general and found just a weak / briddle wire harness . somewhere there is a short . couldnt find the short anywhere. CX didnt want to repair unit, getting a new one.. i did inform cx to have breaker looked at .."

cx complaint is ice maker stopped working and now unit is shutting down at times and he has to reset breaker to make it work again. said unit cools great. unit is O-O-W and he knows. all lights and fans check. took temp readings of -1 in Freezer 38 in FF and 5 through ice maker. turned unit back on after test mode and unit would start back up. cx had to reset breaker. cx said unit needs to be off a few min then when turned back on it startsd.for icemaker found heater not working and line froze. heater wires lose and coming off. secured with metal tape. gave cx quote and he wants to call whirlpool about this. cx will pay service for today.; ordrng 1 W11087201 (Refrigerator Heater 75.97) and 1 W10843055 (Main Control 229.81)

I then found that the locking mechanism was not aligned correctly causing it to be hard to close. I was able to reallign the mechanism and get the door closed. "Cx complaint the FC section is building up with ice. Opened and inspected the FC and found ice build up along the top and on the racks. Found the slides on the door were preventing it from closing and sealing. rack shaft wasn't connected to the right adapter. Removed drawer and reconnected shaft, lubricated slides so they move back and fourth, placed drawers and rack back in and now the door closes and seals all the way around. Unit checks good"

I harvested the IM and all worked expect the water being inserted into the mold. I found ice built up at the entrance to the IM mold from the fill tube.
