"cx complaint that the caulk surrouding the perimeter of the cooktop glass is 'diminishing'. inspedcted unit and can confirm that the bead of caullk around the cooktop glass is not the same thickness at all points around the cooktop, and at the front most section towards the console, the caulk is low enough to allow small crumbs and debris to get trapped inside (took pics). cx was insistent that this is due to the caulk 'diminishing' but that simply is not the case. the caulk used to seal the glass within the top frame is heat reisistent and could only be impacted by harsh chemicals not approved for cleaning by whirlpool. tried to explain to cx that this is in fact a cosmetic failure, but cx was resistent to explination of the product."

ORdering Drip pan kit W11457241 and setting RC evap fan assembly on return in case CX wants it installed. they WILL have to pay on the spot for it. Charged CX $211.61 via card. Upon arrival I found that the suspension rod had come out and the bushing was flipped upside down in the pocket. I inspected the rod and the bushing and found that there are no obvious signs that would cause it to jump out. I was able to reinsert the rod into the bushing in place. Unit is functioning as intended. Job complete I collected the service call.

It appears that the unit has a secondary drain pump exterior to the unit that is not a Whirlpool part. Informed customer that a plumber will be needed to either run a drain line from that pump to the unit and we can attach it then or I provided them with the part number for the condensate pump for this unit (1901A) and plumber can run line directly from drain connection to the unit and we can install the condensate pump and attach drain line. Unit will still need to be tested after all of this. Customer will try to get this done by the 30th.; saved tckt"

"cx complaint is the fridge door sticking out at the top slightly and the unit roliing forward when doors are opened. confirmed complaint, door sticks out slightly at the top and sits a little lower than freezer door. unit is on a tile floor and rools easily. unit sits on rollers and does not have flat feet to put it in. i adjusted door so it sits level height wise. door doesnt seem to stick out so much now. explained to cx he may need to put front feet on a small rubber mat or put a chalk under the wheels to keep unit from rolling but that it is working correctly. cx is happy with the unit."

CX complaint is WM not advancing cycles. There have been multiple visits to this unit and every time its the same issue. CX has really bad well water and the inlet valve keeps getting clogged. My last visit I even put a screen in hose for CX. The Cx has also been informed that she needs to address her well issue on several occassions.Spoke to JR at WPTL. Explained everything to him and he has documented findings. He advised me to not replace any parts on unit until CX addresses her well issues and to refer CX to Customer service with the SR#. installed compressor and uv dye drier and pulled unit into 30 inch vacuum and held. unit held vacuum with no leaks. charged with 134a and tesed. was only able to observe evap frot pattern breifly however due to the unit being in an rv and power to unit was only supplied via an electrical cord. unit als did not have fc door installed due to the install of the entire unit in the rv. from all testing performed after completion unit appeared to check good.

"cx complaint is a bunch of snow and ice in the front of unit on the top and all over the rails on the right hand side. checked unit and went over overpacking and closing door as all air is coming from the front upper side as well as right. also says the auto close does not work either. i did see a gap in the liner where air could be coming in as well he said FF left door does not close like right door but thats because the left door has the heater, showed him the difference. only things i could see in doing is replacing the door gasket and the rails and sealing the gap in the liner to see if that will hold back the air. wont know if that will fix till after repair.rest of unit checks. temps in range and all lights and fans checks. will order parts needed. cx calling whirlpool as well.; ordrng 1 WPW10330991 (Refrigerator Bracket) and 1 WPW10330993 (Refrigerator Bracket) and 1 WPW10714545 (Gasket) and 1 8201711 (Adhesive)"

"Unit is still not cooling. I ran test 5, it read OL. I went to the rear of the unit and wiggled the main wire connector into the cabinet then it read passed and the heat came on in test 13. This is our 5th visit to this unit. On the 2nd visit SB found the same issue with the main wire connector. I called techline to document the issue, he concluded that the thermistor clip that broke needs to be replaced apparently it can give false readings without it. I don't agree because before I touched the sensor it went from fail to pass by adjusting the wire connector.So far two thermistor, dispenser control have been replaced, after each visit the ohm reading are good and it works. I'm ordering the clip but I think it's beyond repair, loose wire at the cabinet connector in the rear. sr7733971008; ordrng 1 W11546684 (thermistor clip)"

Ice was preventing the shaft to go all the way back. Removed evap cover and found good frost pattern with no ice build up. Assembled all brackets,cover and drawers back in and the door now seals all around. Unit checks good. Cx paid for service/labor"

"cx complaint unit still not making ice, made 6 cubes after last tech left but thats it. inspected unit and verified complaint. icemaker mold empty. ran test 120, completed harvesting but very squeaky, no errors. ran test 97 and valve energized properly but no water coming in. ran test 66 for 5min, fill tube heater getting 12.5vdc. ran fill test again, still nothing. called techline for repeat issue, sr#7733544821. techline had me disconnect waterlne at hinge and run fill test again, had a little water come out at hinge, techline said it doesnt give full fill amount in test mode but since water coming thru, valve is good. issue is fill tube not heating. ordering fill tube and icemaker to try and get one less noisy. call cx to schedule return once we have eta on parts; ordrng 1 W11557001 (icemaker) and 1 W11401679 (fill tube)"
