Removed 2 screws, top lid, 2 screws, front panel,2 screws filter housing, removed blower housing, 7 screws front cover with door disconnected door switch and moisture sensor harness. Noticed red wire to tco was not fully seated. Pulled out wire diagram. To see wire connections to tco. Reconnected red wire to tco. Installed all other parts that was removed, tested unit. Unit element is getting hot and works properly."

I removed the ice and tested the unit for the cx. The IM is good to go. I found the water from the valve to the water dispenser is sending water but it's not coming out of the water dispenser. The unit needs a new dispenser facade and guide. I'm ordering the parts for the return visit. cx complaint unit is not heating well. got to unit and sensor was reading 60 degrees at rrom temp and it was 80 in house. changed sensor and read 77 after putting it in. unit should now be good to go. heated unit to 200 and units sensor was reading 197 and my probe was at 198. unit should now be working as desinged. if cx still having issues control would be needed.

"cx complaint unit not cooling properly, fz not freezing. inspected unit and verified complaint. 35 in fz, 47 in rc. noticed alot of condensation on mullion and mullion is cold. lights are on but nothing running upon arrival. ran thru service tests. everything passes except i heard overload trip once. all other times i run compressor it didnt trip. plugged unit into watt meter and unt pulled 170watts when compressor first kicked on, then slowly dropped to 80watts as compressor ran. out of no where compressor and fan stopped running and unit was pulling 120watts without compressor running. called AH to report findings. ordering compressor, drier and control. call cx to schedule return visit once we have eta on parts. 2ct SS tech only; ordrng 1 W11580057 (compressor) and 1 W11504415 (coupler) and 1 W11504431 (7/5 Nr Ms 00) and 1 W11506619 (coupler) and 1 WPW10143759 (drier) and 1 W11504433 (6/4 Nr Ms 00) and 1 W11504447 (5/1.8 Nr Ms 00) and 1 W11566851 (control)"

"Cx complaint the RC door makes noise and the dispenser leaks. Inspected door and found heard craeking noise when opening and closing. The cams seemed to hairline crack on them causing the noise. Noise gets louder after every opening. Inspected dispemser and found ice getting jammed in door causing separator to open and melt ice that's stuck. Contacted TL and they suggested replacing separator due to it closing too quickly and not allowing all the ice to dispense through. Ordering parts,once parts are in contact cx to reschedule; ordrng 1 W11397972 (cam door) and 1 W11398787 (lower cam door) and 1 W11423786 (separator)"

CX complaint: gas leak. Tested unit and verified complaint. I used and electronic sniffer and did not detect any gas at the unit or around the regulator. I did detect a gas leak at the wall end of the gas supply line. I ran this test a second time so the CX could see where the test was failing. I tried to tighten this connection but it was already extremely tight and i could not tighten further. I advised CX to have the gas line and adapter at the wall replaced. One of the 2 parts is the source of the leak. Unit is working properly but the gas suppkly needs to be corrected. Job is complete.

Cx complaint is the units convection fan is turning on for 10 seconds and then turning off for 10 seconds and then repeating that cycle. I put unit into test mode did not have any error codes. I put unit into component activation test and turn convection fan on convection fan stayed on until I turned it off. I called tech line and explain to them what the issue is and tech line stated that this is the normal operation and the unit is working as design. I documented this with whirlpool and explain this to the customer the customer still did not believe me so to prove my point I replace the control board and tested the unit the same way and it did the same exact thing as it did before I replace control board the customer now believes me and is going to call whirlpool because he didn't know the unit would do this.
