Inspected underneath and found no damage. Removed agitator and found the drive shaft to be bent. Ran manuel high speed spin and unit wobbled and made noise. Before repair i double checked diagnosis and found inlet tube frozen and water line kinked. Water did not dispense until corrected the kink. I corrected these and then replaced the dual valve. Tested unit and now IM is filling but water not dispensing. I can hear valve activate but it is not opening. I left defective valve in place because CX uses the ice but not water dispenser. "Cx complaint that the unit is not holding temp. I inspected the unit and confirmed the complaint. I found the evap covered in ice, I removed the ice and found the defrost connector loose. I secured the connector and ran tests 5 & 13. Both worked fine and the defrost heater came one. I repositioned the defrost connectors above the cap and suction tubing. I think this occurs because the defrost connectors rest on the evap, and when it freezes the ice make the connector seperate. I tested the unit for the cx. The unit is working as designed."

Cx asked me to test the unit because he found it a little noisy. Ran a test cycle, the unit worked ok, the heater worked without any leak. Noticied that during the test cycle the diverter was a little noisy (possible dry seal) but worked ok. Quoted repair $406.32 (no svc) with $145 labor for sump/motor assy W11416362 replacement. Found freezer temps at +2 degrees (4 degrees above recommended). Based on cx description it sounds like the unit is not consistently sensing that it is cool enough to produce ice. Contacted TL and ran through multiple checks and TL said to defrost evap and the run test 4 if solenoid doesn't open correctly on 3 way valve, the valve needs replaced if it does then the UI needs replaced. Charged cx for $120 service, will need to be charged accordingly for which ever part needs replaced, labor, shipping and taxes.
