"cx complaint unit lost cooling, rc in 60s and fz was around 15. cx unplugged unit and plugged it back in over the weekend(4-5days ago) and its been cooling fine since then. cx said she noticed the 2-5 year warranty in her paper work and said that kitchenaid told her repair would be covered. explained to cx that its a limited parts only covers parts/labor for specific parts and that 'sealed refrigeration system' does not mean the whole unit. showed cx list of parts covered and advised that even if issue is one of these parts then i would still have to charge 120 service call. went over oow pricing and cx declined service since its been working properly for 4-5days. no service provided, no money collected"

cx complaint is poor cooling and low ice production. when i arrived ice bin was full. cx just moved in a week or to ago and said this is all the ice its made since they got here. unit is set to coldest settings in both sections. my prob shows 35/-6. i tested the ice dispensor and motor did not turn only made a buzzing noise. auger in bin spins freely by hand. unit will need new auger motor. ordering part. frost pattern looks good and air ducts are clear. set unit back to recomended temps and informed cx that temps are good. schedule cx when motor is available.; ordrng 1 W11310391 (motor)

Cx complaint is that the unit is not cooling. Upon arrival I found that the compressor is running. I found only a partial frost pattern in the cabinet. I then did and amp draw and found that the amp draw was at 1.34 amps at the start and then went down to .56 amps and equalized out at .60 steady. I called MM and informed him of my finding. I am ordering a compressor and a filter drier. Will also need a 2 call count for the sealed system repair.
