"cx complaint unit having same issue as previous unit that was exchanged wth this unit, sparking noise when using unit. inspected unit and verified complaint. found diode shorted again. seems it shorted because of excess grease build up inside unit. exhaust blower and vent check good. called techline to document since this is repeat issue with 2 seperate units, sr#7734146665. techline determined that the grease build up inside unit is considered abuse and transfered me to tradecare sr#7734119928. tradecare team declined to cover repair since unit was already exchanged for this issue. called office to make sure i dont have to charge service call now and they i shouldnt have to. advised cx of findings and quoted 271.96. cx wants to try calling cx service before continuing with repair; ordrng 1 W11493408 (transformer) and 1 W11335495 (capacitor) and 1 W11256462 (diode)"

I removed the agitator and found that the spin basket had seperated at the base. This is allowing the basket to move side to side in the tub. Cx complaint is that the unit is not always igniting on the RR burner and the LF sometimes goes out when it is on the simmer setting. Upon arrival I found that the RR ignitor is only sparking intermittently. I found that it has a crack in ceramic allowing the current to exit before reaching the electrode. "Cx complaint condensation is forming in RC. Inspected RC and found a gap at the bottom right side of door. Syrofoam when the unit was shipped was taped at bottom of door and preventing it from closing. Also found condensation through air ducts. Accessed evap and found the drain to be clogged, creating ice build up in ducts. Steamed drain and ducts open, now air flows through RC, the door seals properly and drain is unclogged. Unit checks good"

"cx complaint is a burning smell from unit. when i arrived cx had already taken unit down and put it back in the original packaging. i took it back out and when i opened the door i could smell someting had been burning in unit but saw nothing out of place. i inspected and found thermal damage to the mag. where the 2 wires attach is burnt/melted. wires are not damaged. nothing else in unit is damaged. wave guide looks good. called techline to document. they advised replacing the mag. quoted cx for repair. they said they are not going to fix the unit, they already got a new one. i put unit back in the box and left TY card with cx."

I then ran the diag test and found that the sump is spraying but at very low pressures. I verified that the screen, spray arms and trap were not clogged. I also found that the unit falls in the range for SP W11540964 and will need the element replaced as well.
