Was able to access unit and replace parts. Cx stated they had a freeze pop not freeze in fc and bread soft. Checked temps with thermocoupler and found 6F in FC but FC filled to the max and not alot of air flow. Checked frost pattern and contacted techline spoke to Chris. Documented the picture and and informed cx to remove some items to help with the airflow of the unit. No further work needed

Cx complaint unit freezing items in rc. Was able to access unit and verify concern. Found 23F in RC. Removed evap cover and found perfect frost pattern. Thermostat is set at 1 and moved to off and unit never shut off. Found thermostat failure ordering assembly it it is NLA. If found office will need to schedule return; ordrng 1 2200830 (thermostat assembly nla)

This two year old Maytag dryer had more problems way too soon. So much for the lonely Maytag repair man. Between the local dealer and then Via, it took a considerable amount of time to identify the problems and then repair them. Being told by different people that I do too many loads of laundry should not be an issue. Finally the issues were resolved and it’s finally working as it should. My most recent Via rep did a good job and had the knowledge to fix it. Would recommend Via.
